Hello all, thank you for stopping by.

Let's start with some fun stuff:

I'm from Chicago originally, currently basking in the sunshine of Southern California, and Denver seems to be on my horizon.
Being from Chicago, yes, my favorite sportsball teams are also Chicago.

I'd like to think of myself as a fun loving, yet analytical person. Sometimes I can be a little too smart for my own good, but it's all in jest.
I've got a wide array of interests and hobbies, but I'll post a few

- Playing guitar
- Classic rock / punk rock
- Cars and mechanical things
- History
- Architecture

Now for the reason I'm here. We're all on a journey in life. My haphazard journey has been a fun, mostly enjoyable one. Sure, times have been tough, been to some really bad places, but I'm still here, and so are you. I've gained a lot of answers and perspective, but I've also gained more questions in the process. I've developed a theory into what makes us whole complete beings. I won't ramble on about that, but picture us as an equilateral triangle. Now, that being the perfect shape that it is, is where we strive to be on all 3 sides; the sides of physical, mental and spiritual. The triangle doesn't break, it can't. However, it can become a very very skewed and odd looking obtuse or acute shape, but all 3 sides are still there. Our goal is to be a perfect equilateral triangle. That's all I'll share about that for now, but I'm happy to discuss it one on one and further expand this theory and idea.

My being here is spiritual in meaning. The spirit, the soul, the force even, can expand the other 2 sides of the triangle and help lift it up and back into shape. I've got a loose sense of spirit, if you could even call it that in the first place. I've been faithless for over 20 years (sort of, more on that in just a second). I don't follow any religion, I don't believe in what I've found so far. Now that's not to say any of them are wrong or right, no, far from that in fact. I just haven't found a way to agree and align my beliefs with the pre-existing systems in place. Now my journey has led me here, and I come with open arms, an open heart and an open mind into learning whatever I can, however I can, by whomever is willing to share their story. The one thing I do believe in, is we are all connected. People, animals, the plants, nature, the ocean, the skies, and the cosmos above. We all come from star dust, we are star dust, we are the force.

Thank you for letting me be here, thank you for reading, and may the force be with you.

@arisaig-winterthorn

I do visit Chicago from time to time, so it's not out of the realm of possibilities to run into this group at some point.

Thank you again for the help and guidance you've already given me, and thank you for any future wisdom you bestow upon me.
